Oakshire Brewing Company

Begun in October 2006 by brothers Jeff and Chris Althouse, Oakshire Brewing is a 15-barrel production brewery in Eugene, Oregon dedicated to making fine craft beer.  What began as a home-brewing hobby and a love of beer has turned into award-winning beer on draft and in bottles throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The name Oakshire represents our core values: Strength, like the enduring Oak; Independence, which fuels our innovation; and Community, remembering our place within the whole.

Serving

11th Anniversary: Eleventh is our Biere De Garde or “beer for keeping”. Aged 15 months in French oak followed by 6 months in the bottle, this strong amber farmhouse ale presents itself with an earthy fruit forward nose and touch of floral brightness. ABV: 7.8% | IBU: 23

Carol Situation: An oak aged saison, with a golden hue and white lacy head, this beer is bursting with aromas of orang blossom, honey and effervescent white wine. The bright acidity leads to notes of kumquat and marmalade across a mouth feel reminiscent of chardonnay. ABV: 7.7% | IBU: 10

Nectarnal Slumber: This beer began as a wheat saison that was laid to rest for 21 months in neutral French oak wine barrels. In the summer of 2017, it began its life anew with the addition of freshly harvested nectarines from Harrisburg’s Detering Orchards. This farmhouse ale evokes aromas of orange marmalade and bright stone fruit. ABV: 6.5% | IBU: 14
